Triton Hospital’s Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit has the most advanced life-support and monitoring equipments available for managing extremely premature and extremely low birth weight babies with facilities for CPAP, ventilation, High frequency ventilation, exchange transfusion. The unit is equipped not only for managing inborn babies, but also has facilities for shifting in sick babies from other hospitals for ventilatory support and further management, there is also a provision for a 4 bedded adult and pediatric ICU for managing medical and post operation surgical patients.
The Neonatology (NICU) at Triton Hospital Children’s is a Level III neonatal unit. We offer the highest level of care for neonatal diagnosis, surgery, and rehabilitation. In addition, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is on site at Triton Hospital. In total, there are more than 20 NICU beds in Triton health system. The main campus 17-bed unit is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology to care for newborns with complex medical problems. The neonatal unit admits infants from any community hospital as well as from Triton Hospital.
The Neonatology (NICU) offers parents and infant patients a family-centered facility with a caring staff to ensure that both parents and baby are comfortable and at ease. Board-certified neonatologists and nursing specialists work with other pediatric specialists, such as lactation experts, psychologists, speech pathologists and physical and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive, individualized care.Contact Us
